The great outline race

Over the next two months I'll be sorting through ideas and putting together outlines. I've started on my main one -- McFaeland Investigations 2 : (Untitled), and it's finally moving along very well -- up to the fifth chapter and trouble on all sides. It's great.

I'll need a couple more outlines -- not because I plan to write three books again, but because I want some choices when the time comes. Havnig outlines on hand is fun. If I have them worked up, then I can start a book at virtually any time. I'll want one for January 1 since I always start a new novel on the first day of the year.

I do have two other outlines in hand, in fact -- The Servant Girl and I'm Not Who You Think. I need to do more detail into the second one and go over the first.

At the moment, I'm doing a lot of outlines and nonfiction work, but I'm about to take part in the Labor of Love one week marathon at FM and write a new novel. It'll be good to get back to fiction! And yes... I do have the outline for it!
